แรงบัลดาลใจ 50 บาท…
“ประกวดการจัดห้องทำงานในแบบของคุณเอง สมัครฟรีเงินรางวัลสูงสุด 500,000 บาท ผู้สมัครเข้าร่วมการประกวด จะได้รับงบประมาณ 5,000 บาท เพื่อเป็นค่าใช้จ่ายในการจัดห้องประกวด หากเงินดังกล่าวไม่เพียงพอ ผู้เข้าร่วมการประกวดสามารถหาเงินเพิ่มเองได้ เช่นการหาสปอนเซอร์ หรือใช้เงินส่วนตัวก็ได้

สมศักดิ์ ตัดสินใจเข้าร่วมการประกวดการจัดห้องทำงาน เหตุผลสำคัญคือเงิน 5,000 บาท จะได้รับทันทีที่ส่งใบสมัคร ไม่รอช้าพิมพ์ข้อมูลลงแบบฟอร์มทางอินเตอร์เน็ต ในเว็บไซต์ของผู้จัดการประกวด
เพียงอึดใจเดียว เงินจำนวน 5,000 บาท ก็ถูกโอนเเข้าบัญชีธนาคารของสมศักดิ์
ความคิดต่างๆพรั่งพรูออกมา ทำอย่างไรถึงจะได้เงินรางวัล 500,000 บาท จากเงินเริ่มต้น 5,000 บาท จะต้องหาทุนเพิ่มอีกดีไหม จะหาแรงบันดาลใจได้อย่างไร จะเริ่มต้นยังไงดี
ผ่านไปหนึ่งสัปดาห์ เงินที่ได้มาเหลืออยู่ 500 บาท หาสปอนเซอร์ก็ไม่ได้เพราะไม่มีอะไรจะไปนำเสนอ สมศักดิ์ ยังคงคิดว่าจะจัดห้องทำงานอย่างไร เพื่อให้ได้รางวัลชนะเลิศ
ผ่านไปสองสัปดาห์ เงินที่ได้มาเหลืออยู่ 50 บาท สมศักดิ์ ก็ยังคิดไม่ออกว่าจะจัดห้องประกวดอย่างไร
“คิดไม่ออก ก็ไม่ต้องคิด” สมศักดิ์ เหลือบเห็นร้านกาแฟริมทางเท้า ตัดสินใจใช้เงิน 50 บาท ที่เหลืออยู่ซื้อกาแฟอเมริกาโน่เย็น ราคา 50 บาทพอดี
ดื่มกาแฟจนเกือบหมดแก้ว เหลือน้ำแข็งก้อนสุดท้าย กาแฟหมดไปแล้ว
ยกแก้วขึ้นมองดู น้ำแข็งค่อยๆละลาย
น้ำแข็งก้อนสุดท้ายกลายสภาพเป็นน้ำ
ใช้หลอดดูดน้ำที่เหลือก้นแก้วจนหมด เสียงดัง ฟอด ฟอด…
เหลือเพียงแก้วเปล่า ยกขึ้นส่องดูกับแสงไฟ ไม่มีกาแฟ ไม่มีน้ำแข็ง ไม่เหลือแม้หยดน้ำใดๆ เห็นเพียงแต่แก้วใส ที่ว่างเปล่า ว่างจริงๆ ว่างเหมือนกับความดิดในตอนนี้….
… ทันใดนั้น ความคิดบางอย่างได้เกิดขึ้น แบบที่ไม่อาจจะบรรยายด้วยคำพูดได้ รู้แล้วว่าจะจัดห้องทำงานอย่างไร…
วันประกวดมาถึง สมศักดิ์ นัดหมายคณะกรรมการมาดูห้องทำงาน ที่อพาทเมนต์เก่าๆ ซึ่งเป็นที่อยู่อาศัยของสมศักด์เอง
ทันทีที่เปิดประตู้ห้อง สิ่งที่เห็นคือห้องโล่งๆ เกือบจะว่างเปล่า มีเพียงแก้วกาแฟวางอยู่กลางห้อง แก้วกาแฟซึ่งไม่มีกาแฟอยู่เลยสักนิด มันคือแก้วเปล่า แก้วกาแฟอเมริกาโน่ ที่ซื้อมาจากเงินที่เหลืออยู่ 50 บาท
“คุณตั้งชื่อ การจัดห้องทำงานแบบนี้ ว่าอะไร” หนึ่งในคณะกรรมการเอ่ยถาม
“แรงบัลดาลใจ 50 บาท… ครับ” สมศักดิ์ ตอบคำถาม คณะกรรมการก็เดินทางกลับ และบอกให้ติดตามผลการประกวดจากเว็บไซต์
วันประกาศผลการประกวดมาถึง เปิดหน้าเว็บไซต์ คลิกไปที่ผลการตัดสิน
ราวัลชนะเลิศ ได้แก่จัดจัดห้องที่มีชือว่า แรงบัลดาลใจ 50 บาท… โดย คุณสมศักดิ์ …
ผู้ชนะเลิศ จะได้รับเงินรางวัล 10 เท่า ของเงินที่ใช้ลงทุนในการจัดห้อง สูงสดไม่เกิน 500,000 บาท
ชั่วอึดใจเดียว ก็มีเสียงเตือนจากแอปธนาคาร มีข้อความว่า “เงินเข้า 500 บาท”
สมศักดิ์ หยิบแก้วกาแฟซึ่งไม่มีกาแฟขึ้นมาดู แล้วยิ้มที่มุมปาก
